As of January 22, 2021, the Biden Administration passed a law to increase Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits by 15% to help fight childhood hunger.

Previously, the P-EBT program was capped at $5.86 per child per school day. In addition, many households have had issues claiming their P-EBT benefits. The 15% increase to the P-EBT Program will tackle the problem of food insecurity among children during the school year.
