North Dakota EBT Card Balance – Phone Number and Login

If you have a North Dakota EBT Card, there are several ways you can obtain the balance on your card. In this post, we will explain in detail the three ways you can check your North Dakota EBT Card Balance.

The North Dakota Department of Human Services (DHS) is responsible for administering North Dakota Food Stamp benefits. The food stamps program is also referred to as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

SNAP helps low-income households purchase the food they need to stay healthy while they work to regain financial independence. Food stamps are available to low-income households that meet the federal income eligibility rules.

If you are approved for North Dakota Food Assistance, your food stamp benefits will be deposited electronically on a North Dakota EBT Card.

The North Dakota Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Card is similar to a standard ATM or debit card. Once you are approved for SNAP benefits, you will receive your North Dakota EBT Card in the mail.

Food stamp benefits are deposited on your EBT Card on the same day every month. Benefits can be accessed by 8AM the morning after they are posted to your EBT Card account.

Benefits can be used to make approved food purchases at eligible retail locations. Most grocery stores accept the North Dakota Food Stamps Card, including farmer’s markets.

Some farmer’s markets even allow you to double your EBT cash, giving you even more for your monthly benefits. Find out more about the North Dakota farmer’s market program, here.
