Amazon Prime EBT Discount
If you have an Indiana Hoosier Works Card, you can now sign up for Amazon Prime EBT Discount and get all the great benefits that come with Prime membership, at a fraction of the cost.
The regular Amazon Prime membership is $12.99 a month. However, if you have an EBT Card, you can get Prime Membership for $5.99. That’s over 50% off the regular price.
Given that Amazon is part of the USDA pilot of vendors approved to accept food stamps online for delivery, prime membership allows you to order groceries through Amazon Pantry in certain parts of the country.

Indiana EBT Discounts for 2023
Lifeline Program
If you are currently on Food Stamps/EBT Cardholder, and your income is below a certain level, you may qualify for FREE or low-cost home or cell phone service for you or a member of your family through the Federal Lifeline Program, which serves nearly 13 million Americans.
The Lifeline program helps to lower the monthly cost of phone and internet service. Eligible customers will get at least $9.25 toward their monthly bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet service, but not both.

Discounted Home Phone Services
Below is a list of home phone providers that participate in the Lifeline program in the state of Indiana.
Discounted Internet Service
The new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides discounted internet to EBT Cardholders. The program provides households with a $30 discount on their internet service each month.
Plus, you could also get a one-time $100 discount on the purchase of an eligible laptop, desktop or tablet.
You can combine the $30 ACP internet credit with your Lifeline phone service to save even more on your phone and internet bill each month.

Discounted Museums Admission
As mentioned earlier, your EBT Card gives you discounted or FREE access to museums and other great family-friendly places. We have compiled the list below for your convenience.
The Indiana Museums listed below all offer individual admission fees ranging from FREE to $3.00 to individuals and families who have an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, and a valid form of photo ID.
The offer covers up to four individuals per EBT card, which means that if you have a family of 4, you can use your Indiana EBT card to get the special discounted rate or the free admission for all four members.
These rates are available during all normal operating hours. We advise that you call the museum first before you go – so that you can find out what their special rate is for EBT Cardholders (whether it’s free admission or $3).

Free Access Pass for Discounted Indiana Museum Admission
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has launched a new Access Pass Program for Hooiser EBT Cardholders. The Access Pass provides low-income Indiana families with discounted $2 admission to 12 cultural attractions around the state.

Discounted $2 Museum Admission with Access Pass
Presented by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Access Pass makes family learning more accessible.
The Access Pass provides families with $2 Admission and additional discounts to:
- Conner Prairie Interactive History Park
- Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art
- Indiana Historical Society
- Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
- Indiana Repertory Theatre
- The NCAA Hall of Champions

- Rhythm! Discovery Center

Access Pass Eligibility for Indiana SNAP EBT Cardholders
Families that meet the requirements listed below can visit all participating locations for just $2 general admission per family member per visit. The discounted admission is valid for up to two (2) adults and all dependent youths living in the household.
Indiana residents actively enrolled in these programs qualify:
- Hoosier Healthwise Insurance (Indiana’s health care program for low-income families, pregnant women, and children)
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
Required Documentation for Indiana Access Pass
When applying for your free Indiana museum discount pass, you will be asked to provide some documentation. This is to confirm your eligibility for the discounted museum admission.
To be eligible for the Access Pass, you must provide the following:
- Hoosier Healthwise or Hoosier Works Enrollment Recertification Letter (must be for the current year and issued in the primary adult cardholder’s name)
- Indiana State-issued ID Card—Driver’s License or State Identification Card (name must match the one on the recertification letter)
A verification of your Indiana SNAP, TANF or Healthcare benefits may also be accessed from the Indiana Family Social Services Administration Benefits Portal at www.ifcem.com.

You can apply for the Indiana Access Pass for discounted admission online or in-person. To apply online, follow the instructions below.

Here’s how to apply for the discounted museum admission access pass online:
- Visit the Access Pass website at childrensmuseum.org/visit/hours/access-pass
- Add the “Access Pass” to your cart by clicking the yellow button
- Complete the check-out process for your FREE Access Pass
- Upload photos of your required documents
- Click the “Submit” button
Once your request for a free Indiana Access Pass has been submitted, your application will be reviewed within five business days. After review, you will receive an email stating whether you have been approved.
Apply in Person for Indiana Access Pass
To apply in-person for the free Indiana Access Pass follow these steps:
- Download the Access Pass Application online here
- Complete the application with all of the requested information
- Take your completed application to any of the 12 participating attractions
- Bring your verification documentation
- Get approved and your free Access Pass instantly
