How to Create a Tennessee DHS Account

To start a new online application for benefits in Tennessee or to continue working on a saved application, you will need to login to your Department of Humans Services (DHS) Account. Create a Tennessee DHS Account

The first step in creating a Tennessee DHS account is to visit the DHS benefits website. Click here to be taken there. Once there, click on the “Create Account” link, as shown below.

After that, click on the “Create Account” link. You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be required to enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.

Once you enter that information, click “Continue” as shown below.

After this, you will be taken to a page where you have to enter a Username and Password as shown below and hit “Continue”.

The next step is to select your Security Questions. These are the questions to help you retrieve your username and password in the future should you forget what they are.

Once you select your security questions, click “Create Account”

Congratulations!!! You have successfully created your DHS Account.
