A Missouri mydss.mo.gov account allows you to be able to perform the following tasks:

Here are the steps you need to take to log in to your mydss.mo.gov account.
Step 1 – Visit mydss.mo.gov website
The first step you have to take is to visit the Missouri MyDSS website. Click here to be taken there.
Step 2 – Enter login information
Next, enter your username and password and click on “Sign In” as shown below:

Step 3 – View mydss.mo.gov Account
If you entered the correct information (Username and Password), you will be taken to your Mydss.mo.gov account page as shown below.
There, you can do the following:
- Apply for Benefits (Food stamps, Child Care Subsidy, MO HealthNet, and Temporary Assistance Cash Benefits).
- Check the status of an application
- Complete a saved application
- Report Changes to your account
- Manage your benefits
Retrieve Username, Password and Secret Word
If you don’t remember your username, password, or secret word, follow the instructions below to retrieve them.
First, click on the “Problems with Sign-In: Click here” link as shown below.
You will then be presented with three choices regarding which information you are trying to retrieve.
We will now walk you through how to retrieve each information (username, password, or secret word) if you have forgotten.
Retrieve Username
If you don’t remember your account Username, check the circle “I forgot my username” and click continue.
You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked the following information in order to retrieve your User ID:
- Email Address
After you have entered the information required, click “Continue” to retrieve your User ID.
Retrieve Password
If you don’t remember your account password, check the circle “I forgot my password” and click continue.
You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked the following information in order to retrieve your password:

After you have entered the information required, click “Continue” to retrieve your password.
Retrieve Secret Word
If you don’t remember the secret word to your mydss.mo.gov account, check the circle “I forgot my secret word” and click continue.
You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked the following information in order to retrieve your secret word:

Am I eligible for Missouri Food Stamps?
To be eligible for Food Stamp benefits in Missouri, you must meet certain eligibility requirements, including an asset and income limit (as described below).

What is the Income Limit for Missouri Food Stamps?
As mentioned above, in order to be approved for SNAP benefits in Missouri, you have to meet the income limits: gross income and net income.
Gross income is your total income, before taxes or any deductions.
Net income is determined by subtracting certain allowable deductions from the gross income.

Households with members who are elderly or disabled, as well as households that pass the gross income test, must also pass a net test to qualify.
Elderly households are those which contain members age 60 or older.
Disabled members are those who receive disability payments, such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), veteran’s disability, or Medicaid as a blind or disabled individual.
How can I apply for Food Stamp benefits in Missouri?
There are three ways you can apply for food stamps in Missouri:
Option 1 – Online
To apply online, visit the myDSS website here.
Option 2 – In-person
You can also apply in person at your local Family Support Division (FSD) Resource Center. To find an FSD office near you, click here.
Option 3 – By Phone
Finally, you can also call the FSD Customer Support line at 1-855-373-4636) and ask them to send you an application.
You can also click here to print the application and fill it out.
Once completed, you can mail, fax, or drop off your application to your local FSD Resource Center.
Where can I get help for my family while I am waiting on approval for Food Stamp benefits?
There is help while you wait for your food stamps application to be approved.
If you need immediate assistance, you can contact United Way 211 by dialing 2-1-1 on a landline telephone or 800-427-4626 from a mobile phone.
They will be able to provide you with a list of food pantries and other community services in your area.

How long does it take to get Food Stamp benefits?
You will typically know if you are eligible for Food Stamp benefits within 30 days.
In some emergency cases, you can get Food Stamp benefits in seven days or less.
To be eligible for emergency food stamps, you must meet the guidelines outlined in Section 2 of the Missouri food stamps application (Section 2 – Key Questions for faster service).

What is a Food Stamp mid-certification review?
If you are approved for Food Stamp benefits, you may be required to complete a 6 or 12-month review.
The Family Support Division will send you a letter with instructions on when you have to complete this review.
You will have to complete the review on time to continue to receive benefits if you are deemed eligible for continued benefits.
When are Missouri Food Stamp benefits available?
Once you are approved for benefits, your food stamps allocation will be loaded each month on a Missouri Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.
The date your benefits will be loaded on your EBT card is based on your date of birth and the first letter of your last name.

Can I use Missouri EBT Card in other States?
Yes, you can use Missouri Food Stamp benefits in any other state.
In addition, you can use Food Stamp benefits you received from another state in Missouri.
However, if you move out of the state of Missouri, you must notify FSD so that your benefits can be discontinued. You can apply for food stamps benefits in your new state.
