Gateway.ga.gov Account Features

A Georgia Gateway account allows you to be able to perform the following tasks:

    • Apply for benefits
    • Check your benefits
    • Renew your benefits
    • Report changes to your case
    • View notices
    • Upload documents

Here are the steps you need to take to login to your GA Gateway account.

Step 1 – Visit the Gateway Website

The first step to login into your GA gateway account is to visit the Gateway website. Click here to be taken there. Once there, enter your username and password and click on “Login” as shown below:

If you successfully entered your username and password, you will be taken to a page to accept the “Confidentiality Agreement” as shown below.

You will then be taken to the page below where you will be able to perform the following tasks:

  1. Start an Application for Benefits – like Food Stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids, Child Care, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families).
  2. If you are currently receiving benefits, select the link to link your account so that you can report changes, view your benefit information, or renew your benefit.
  3. Get link to make a PeachCare for Kids Insurance payment.

If you already have an account, you can check your benefits information online, renew your recertify your benefits, report any changes to your case, view notices for your account and upload any requested documents.

Retrieve Username and Reset Password

If you don’t remember your user name or password, follow the instructions below to retrieve them.

Forgot User ID

If you don’t remember your account User ID, click on the “Forgot User ID?” link. You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked the following information in order get your User ID:

  • First and Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Client ID

After you have entered the information required, click “Continue” to retrieve your User ID.

Forgot Password

If you don’t remember your Gateway account password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link. You will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked the following information in order to reset your password:

First, you will have to enter your User ID. Then you will have to provide answers to two secret questions. These are a part of the questions you picked when you set up your account.
