Does Sam’s Club accept EBT Cards?
Yes, Sam’s Club currently accepts EBT cards at all club locations; however, you must be a Member to purchase items in-club without incurring a service fee. Sam’s Club warehouse clubs carry a large variety of food stamp approved items for SNAP benefit redemption.
Can you use EBT Online at Sam’s Club?
Sam’s Club does not currently accept SNAP EBT Cards for online grocery purchases – only in-store use. However, you can use your EBT Card to buy groceries online at Walmart for home delivery or pick-up.

Before you Shop with EBT at Sam’s Club
Before going to your local Sam’s Club to redeem your SNAP benefits, we advise that you call your local store. It is important to confirm that they do in fact accept EBT cards as a form of payment.
You do not want to show up and find that you will not be able to redeem your SNAP benefits at that location.
Please make a note that products carried at Sam’s Club warehouse clubs do not qualify for the WIC program.

You can use your EBT Card to buy eligible food stamps items. For instance, you can buy a variety of items that are sold to be eaten or prepared at home.
This includes:
- Meat and Poultry
- Fish and Seafood
- Fruits and Vegetables

- Snack Food
- Dairy Products
- Nonalcoholic Beverages
- Soft Drinks
Additionally, you can also buy plants and seeds to grow food at home.
You cannot use your SNAP EBT card to buy groceries that are considered prepared food. Also, you cannot buy vitamins, medicine, or any other nonfood items.
