I know that you are doing this as a service to help people, but you must realize that there are Americans in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam that benefit from food stamps also. Please help us too, the EBT website in Puerto Rico only worked for about a week when it came out, hasn’t worked since, and still doesn’t work,so we need all the help we can get.
    Thanks, Richard

My EBT payment was not accepted for my order by Amazon. Customer service told me it’s because you just have a credit card that can cover all the charges first. I have recently reported this to my local congresswoman Yvette Clark inhopes she will take up this issue. Amazon is asking low income residents to have a established credit card in order to place an order using government issued EBT card.

my assets are greater than the limit..i am unemployed due to covid 19. are the requirements different because of the circumstances of my unemployment?

  • It would be really nice if Seniors on EBT and Medicaid could get free or reduced admission to the Woodland Park Zoo and maybe state parks. I live in a Senior residence a few miles from the Zoo. It would be good therapy for folks here to get out and enjoy the animals which they can only very occasionally afford with the current fees. When I was a kid growing up in Seattle in the 60’s my grandparents take me to the zoo all the time, That’s something that is no longer possible for many of today’s grandparents to afford.

Good morning, I’m trying to reach you as I received a notice in the mail that I have been approved for food stamps. However, I never received my EBT card. I have since relocated and spoken with Department of Children and Families, I gave them my new address and the case number provided to me on the paper I received. What I want to know is there another number or office to contact them by?

      Hi Jason,

If you have already contacted your caseworker to alert them of the address change, then you should be fine. Your EBT Card typically arrives a few weeks after your approval letter. You can also try logging into your state’s online food stamps account, to see if the address was updated there. Hope this helps!

Hi Wista, EBT Cards typically can take up to 10-15 business days to arrive. I would give it another week then try contacting your caseworker or local SNAP office for help.

I tried to place an EBT Pantry order of Belvita biscuits and it said the item was not part of the program??? Please respond….as I have been having issues with the EBT connection with PRIME. I placed an order a few weeks ago and the ENTIRE bill was applied to my Amazon STORE card. When I questioned this, I was told I had to click on something (which I cannot remember what it was) BUT I tried it today and the above issue appeared. I also COULD NOT have the money transferred to my EBT balance. Not happy about that, at all.

The site states EBT can be used for Walmart and Amazon where I live. I do not wish to support Amazon nor do I want to pay for a (reduced) Prime account. I just want to be able to purchase the food we need. We just got approved in May for EBT. Very grateful, but it is not much of a benefit when you have to shop at every store in-person except for Fred Meyer. I cannot go into a store due to very high risk of severe illness if I were to get COVID-19. My adult son is disabled and lives with me. This site says we can order online, but that is not correct. We live in Bellingham, WA. We tried to order online delivery for Walmart and tried for 4 days straight to get a delivery time without success. PLUS, site states delivery would need to come from Mt. Vernon, which I’m sure they won’t be able to do. We called local store and we can do pick-up but found there is very little healthy food one can get at Walmart this way… NO FRESH Food. NO frozen food. We can’t even get bread for pick-up. ALL items state “in-store pickup only”. So much for trying to stay safe. Safeway wont’ accept EBT for grocery pick-up anywhere either – except for Arizona. The benefit is piling up for us and we aren’t able to get the groceries we need or use this benefit. Not very well-thought out. What can we do? Does Amazon even ship “fresh” food? No wonder so many people eat the junk they do if this is the only way they can use their EBT cards if they are sick, disabled, unable to shop in store. Not happy and very frustrated and disappointed.
