How to Login Oregon DHS Online Account
If you are trying to login the Oregon DHS online application to apply for SNAP benefits, follow the steps provided below.
1. Access the Oregon DHS Online Application
The first step when logging into your Oregon DHS account is to visit the OR DHS online application. The website can be found at apps.state.or.us/onlineApplication/.

2. Enter your User ID & Password
Once you click the “Login to your Account” link, you will be taken to the Oregon DHS Login page. Next, enter your User ID and Password into the login portal.

Once you have entered your information, click the “Login” button to access your OR DHS online account. You can now proceed to apply or reapply for Oregon food stamp benefits.

1. Visit the Oregon DHS Online Application
If you have forgotten your User ID, the first step to recover that information is to visit the OR DHS online application. The website can be found at apps.state.or.us/onlineApplication/.

2. Click “Forgot your User ID” Link
Next, click the “Forgot your User ID” link located under the login portal. For help, refer to the screenshot below.
3. Enter your Tracking Number
Once you click the link, you will be taken to a new page where you will be asked to enter your tracking number. A tracking number is given to each Oregon SNAP application that is saved or submitted.
This information is located on the My Account Page next to your SNAP application. When complete, click the “Next” button. See the screenshot below.

4. Answer the Security Questions
Once you click the “Next” button, complete the User ID recovery process by confirming your identity. To do this, you will be asked to answer secret security questions. These were set when you created your Oregon DHS account.
5. Create a new Oregon DHS Password
When you successfully confirm your identity, you will be asked to create a new Oregon DHS account password. Your password must be 6-20 characters long and contain at least one number and letter.
When complete, you can retrieve your Oregon DHS User ID. Next, proceed to login your Oregon DHS account.

3. Enter your User ID
Once you click the link, you will be taken to a new page where you will be asked to enter your User ID. When complete, click the “Next” button.
4. Answer the Security Questions
Once you click the “Next” button, complete the Password reset process by confirming your identity. To do this, you will be asked to answer secret security questions. These were set when you created your Oregon DHS account.
When complete, click the “Next” button.
5. Create a new Oregon DHS Password
When you successfully confirm your identity, you will now be able to create a new Oregon DHS account password.
Your password must be 6-20 characters long and contain at least one number and letter. Passwords are case sensitive and should not contain any spaces.
