Amazon Prime EBT Discount
If you have an Ohio Direction Card, you can now sign up for Amazon Prime EBT Discount and get all the great benefits that come with Prime membership, at a fraction of the cost.
The regular Amazon Prime membership is $14.99 a month. However, if you have an EBT Card, you can get Prime Membership for $6.99. That’s over 50% off the regular price.
Given that Amazon is part of the USDA pilot of vendors approved to accept food stamps online for delivery, prime membership allows you to order groceries through Amazon Pantry in certain parts of the country.

Lifeline Program
If you are currently on Food Stamps/EBT Cardholder, and your income is below a certain level, you may qualify for FREE or low-cost home or cell phone service for you or a member of your family through the Federal Lifeline Program, which serves nearly 13 million Americans.
The Lifeline program helps to lower the monthly cost of phone and internet service. Eligible customers will get at least $9.25 toward their monthly bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone service.

Discounted Internet Service
The new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides discounted internet to EBT Cardholders. The program provides households with a $30 discount on their internet service each month.
Plus, you could also get a one-time $100 discount on the purchase of an eligible laptop, desktop or tablet.
You can combine the $30 ACP internet credit with your Lifeline phone service to save even more on your phone and internet bill each month.

Discounted Museums Admission
As an EBT cardholder in Ohio, you also get discounted or FREE access to museums and other great family-friendly places.
Currently, there are 64 locations offering free or discounted admission to Ohio EBT Cardholders.
The Ohio Museums listed below all offer individual admission fees ranging from FREE to $3.00 to individuals and families who have an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and a valid form of photo ID.
This reduced rate is available during all normal operating hours to up to four individuals per EBT card. That means if you have a family of 4, you can use your Ohio EBT card to get the special discounted rate or free admission for all four members.
We advise that you call the museum first before you go – so that you can find out what their special rate is for EBT Cardholders (whether it’s free admission or $3).

Free Zoo and Aquarium Admission with Ohio EBT

Yes, you can get into select Ohio aquariums and zoos with your EBT Card.
In a groundbreaking initiative, the following Ohio zoos, botanical gardens, and aquariums are opening their doors for EBT cardholders for FREE or at a deep discount.
Columbus Zoo & Aquarium Discount for Ohio Direction EBT
The Columbus Zoo offers a special discounted membership for families that have an Ohio Direction EBT Card.
The Columbus Zoo Family Access Membership is available to eligible Ohio families at the discounted price of only $45 per year.
Benefits of the Family Access Membership include:
- FREE admission for 12 months
- FREE parking and digital magazine, the Beastly Banner
- 10% discount in Columbus Zoo and Aquarium gift shops
- Discounts at Safari Golf Club, Educational Classes, and Camp Offerings
- Discounts on Zoombezi Bay single-day tickets and season passes (excluding Gold members)
- Discounted add-on rates for The Wilds memberships
- 50% discount on Open-Air Safari Tours at The Wilds
- Access to member-only events
Families eligible for the Columbus Zoo Membership discount must be participating in one of the following programs:
- Food Stamps (SNAP)
- Cash Assistance (TANF)
- Medicaid
- WIC
Ohio households can purchase the discounted Columbus Zoo Membership by visiting the Membership and Season Pass Processing building at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
You must have proof of eligibility to qualify for the discount. As a result, you will be asked to provide your photo ID, proof of Ohio residency, and proof of qualifying program participation at the time of purchase.
The Family Access Membership admits up to two adults in the same household, plus either dependent children OR grandchildren up to age 21 (not both) to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Cincinnati Zoo Discount for Ohio EBT
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is offering discounted tickets and season passes to Ohio food stamps recipients.
The Zoo Access for All program encourages families and individuals of all backgrounds to visit the zoo and build lifelong memories.
To access the Cincinnati Zoo discounted tickets, SNAP recipients must show their Ohio Direction EBT Card and a photo ID at the door.
The Zoo Access for All program offers discounted tickets to eligible families at the following rates:
- Adults – $6 per ticket
- Children (ages 2 to 12) – $3 per ticket
- Seniors (age 62 or older) – $3 per ticket
- Family Membership – $50
- Parking – $1
There is a limit of eight discounted tickets per one Ohio Direction Card.
