Summer 2023 P-EBT in California

Great news - California was approved to issue Summer P-EBT benefits for 2023! This means that households with eligible school-age children will receive a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child. Children who receive free or reduced-price meals under the National School Lunch Act are eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for Summer 2023. California will be issuing Summer P-EBT payments for 2023 from Sunday, July 16th to Wednesday, August 30th. California is required to have issued ALL Summer P-EBT payments for 2023 by Saturday, September 30, 2023.
