2023 Summer P-EBT in Connecticut (Payment Update)

Great news - Connecticut was approved to issue Summer P-EBT benefits for 2023! This means that households with eligible school-age children will receive $120 in P-EBT benefits per eligible child. Children who receive free or reduced-price meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or attend a CEP school are eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for Summer 2023. Connecticut will be issuing Summer P-EBT benefits as a one-time payment of $120. 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits in Connecticut will be issued on the following dates: SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid (MA) households: September 3, 2023 Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and School Meals’ Application households: September 16, 2023 Catch-up for missed children and newly approved households: September 17, 2023 & September 24, 2023 Connecticut is required to issue ALL Summer P-EBT payments for 2023 by September 30, 2023.
