Delaware Food Stamp Office Locations

The Delaware Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as the Food Stamp Program enables low-income families to buy a variety of food that is the basis for better nutrition. The Delaware SNAP provides recipients with the monthly cash assistance benefits, which is issued electronically to the household’s Delaware Food First EBT card each month. Delaware SNAP recipients can use Food First EBT card at local, approved grocery stores to access their food benefits and purchase approved food items.

The United States Department of Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Service (FNS), is the federal agency responsible for overseeing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. On the local Delaware level, the Department of Social Services is responsible for issuing and mandating the Delaware Food Stamps Program.
