In today’s post, we’re going to walk you through the step-by-step process on how to login to the C4Yourself website for government benefits in California. C4Yourself (www.C4Yourself.com) is the online application system that allows California residents in select counties to apply for benefits. The C4Yourself website currently serves residents in the following California counties:
The C4Yourself website can only be used to apply for benefits by those residents living in current C4Yourself approved counties (listed above). If you live in Los Angeles County, you will have to use the Your Benefits Now website to manage your benefits or submit an application online.

For those residents that live in an approved C4Yourself county, you can use the C4Yourself website to apply for benefits, check the status of your benefits, open saved applications, view your documents, check messages and view your current EBT balance. The C4Yourself website works with the following government benefit programs:
- CalWORKS – California’s medical assistance program that offers free or low-cost health coverage to those adults and children with limited income and resources.
- CalFresh – California’s food assistance program that provides monthly benefits to assist low-income households purchase the food they need to maintain adequate nutrition.
- Medi-Cal – California’s Medicaid health care program that covers medical services for adults and children with limited income and resources.

C4Yourself.com Login Help
To log in to the C4Yourself online benefits portal, visit the website at www.C4Yourself.com and proceed by clicking the Login button on the homepage. The Login button is located at the very top right of the homepage (see image below).
Once you click the Login button, you will be redirected to a new page where you’ll be asked if you’re a New User or an Existing User. Please proceed to the Existing User section, located on the right side of the page. Once you have located the Existing User section, enter your Username and Password into the appropriate field boxes. Once complete, click the Next button (see image below).
If the Username and Password that you entered are correct, you’ll be automatically logged in to your C4Yourself account. Once logged in, you’ll be able to view your benefits information or submit an application.
If you have forgotten your C4Yourself Username or Password, you can retrieve that information by following the instructions listed below.
C4Yourself.com Username Recovery
If you have forgotten the Username or Password for your C4Yourself account, you will have to recover that information before you’re able to gain access to your account. For instructions on how to recover your C4Yourself Username, keep reading below.
To recover your Username, the first step thing you need to do is visit the C4Yourself.com Login page. Once you are on the Login page, look for the section that says “Existing User” which is located on the right-hand side of the Login page. Below the Login portal Username and Password login field boxes, you will see a link that says, “Forgot your Username?” Please proceed by clicking the Forgot your Username link (see image below).
Once you have clicked the Forgot your Username link, you will be directed to a new page where you will be asked to enter your email address (see image below). Please continue by entering your email address into the field box and clicking the Next button. Be sure to enter the email address that is associated with your C4Yourself account.
If you have entered the correct email address, you should receive a confirmation on a new page stating that an email containing your Username information has been sent to you. Be sure to check your email to retrieve this information.
Once you have recovered your Username, you can proceed by logging into your account as normal. If you do not remember your C4Yourself Password and would like help resetting it, keep reading below.
C4Yourself.com Password Reset
To reset your Password, the first step thing you need to do is visit the C4Yourself.com Login page. Once you are on the Login page, look for the section that says “Existing User” which is located on the right-hand side of the Login page. Below the Login portal Username and Password login field boxes, you will see a link that says, “Forgot your Password?” Please proceed by clicking the Forgot your Password link (see image below).
Once you have clicked the Forgot your Password link, you will be directed to a new page where you will be asked to enter your Username (see image below). Please continue by entering your Username into the field box and clicking the Next button.
Once you have entered your Username, you will be asked a security question. This will be one of the secret questions that you registered when you created your C4Yourself account. The security question is very important because it verify’s the identity of the user and prevents anyone from gaining access to their account. Be sure to answer this information correctly. Once you have done so, you will be able to complete the steps and create a new Password. When you have your new Password, please proceed by logging into your C4Yourself account as normal.
