Step 1 – Visit the Access Nevada Website
To login to your account, you first have to visit the Access Nevada website. Click here to be taken to the website.
Next, click on the “Login” link on the top right side of the page as shown in the image below:
Step 2 –Enter Username and Password or Create Account
Next, enter your Username and Password in the space provided, then click the “Login” button.
If you entered the correct Username and Password, you will be taken to your Access Nevada account page.
However, if you do not have an Access Nevada account, click on the “Create New Account” link for instructions on how to set up your online account.

Can’t remember my Access Nevada Username
If you cannot remember your Access Nevada Username, click on the “Forgot Username?” link on the login page as shown in the image below.
Once you click on that link, you will be taken to a page like the one below where you will be asked for the following information to retrieve your Access Nevada Username:
- Email Address (the one you used to sign up for your Access Nevada account)
- Last Name

You will receive a decision regarding your NV SNAP application within 30 days from the date you submit your application. If you need help sooner, check to see if you qualify to receive emergency food stamp benefits.
If eligible, you can receive immediate benefits within 7 days.
How can I get urgent help with food assistance?
If you are faced with an emergency and need immediate help with food, you may be eligible to get SNAP benefits within 7 days from the day your application is submitted.
To qualify for emergency help, you must have valid identification, plus:
- Proof that your monthly income, cash, and bank accounts are less than your rent or mortgage plus your utility costs, or
- Your monthly income is less than $150 and your cash and bank accounts are not more than $100, or
- At least one person in your household is a migrant farmworker and your cash and bank accounts are not more than $100.
Can I get SNAP benefits if I don’t have kids?
Yes, you can still qualify for food stamp benefits if you do not have any children or children living in your household.
Can I use my Nevada EBT card in other counties and other states?
Your Nevada EBT card will work at any store in the state that accepts SNAP/EBT benefits.
In addition, you can use your card in the other 49 states in the United States, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam.
However, if you are unsure, ask the manager at the store you are trying to make the purchase from.
Can I have someone else help me shop using my EBT account?
Ask your local Nevada Food Stamps caseworker about setting up an Authorized Representative (AR) for your EBT account. The AR will have a separate card with his or her own account number and PIN.
In addition, the EBT system is able to track which card is used at any time. The AR will have access to your entire benefit account.
What time is Nevada EBT Benefits Deposited on EBT Cards?
Nevada EBT benefits are deposited on the first day of every month.
